Vanessa Anne Hudgens, born on December 14th, 1988 in Salinas, California, is an American actress and singer. She grew up singing and acting on Broadway and in minor TV roles, but caught her claim to fame in Disney Channel's "High School Musical".
Hudgens solo career began in 2006, with the release of her first album, entitled 'V'. She then released her second album, 'Identified' in 2008. Hudgens also contributed to the "High School Musical" soundtrack albums.
