1) With their story made of four adrenalin filled albums, hundreds of gigs and an unique mix of punk rock wars, blues explosions and new wave shocks, CUT are one of the best (re)known Italian underground bands. On stage they are a tight, exciting and super electric rock and roll combo, cemented by constant touring. On record, while they manage to convey the energy of their live shows, CUT always try to push the envelope a little more, revealing unexpected sides and shades to their sound . Totally immune to the detachment and coldness of the post modern era CUT are committed to one goal: to bring back danger and excitement to the underground scene, be it in Italy or elsewhere. 2) The instrumental duo CUT constisted of Birger Löhl from the Hanover band GETEILTE KÖPFE and the drummer Jason Kahn from UNIVERSAL CONGRESS OF... and TROTZKY ICEPICK who later moved to Berlin. Their music goes far beyond beaten paths and moves between noisy passages like NAKED CITY to more silent, meditative and melodic phases.  |
