There are multiple artists with this name:
1) Washington is the name of the Australian (mostly one-woman) indie/minimalist band fronted by singer-songwriter Megan Washington.

2) Washington is also a band which consists of singer/songwriter and guitarist Rune Simonsen, drummer Esko Pedersen and bassplayer Andreas Hoyer, hailing from the dark northern regions of Norway. Their music can be referred to as Saybia or Coldplay-like, with melancholic and melodic guitars and piano's, but they're not afraid to experiment on occasions.
In 2004 their debut album 'A New Order Rising' was released. Second album 'Astral Sky' came out early 2007. In Dec 2008 they released third album 'Rouge / Noir'.  |
